When you select a GR the list has a "status" field that currently is fairly pointless. How about having that updated to show if you can GR to that place or not. That way when you die, you will be able to pick a nearbye GR you can use, rather than having to guess and ending up at your appt coz the one you picked was locked.

Whoa, some major bumpage there. Still a fantastic idea though, it's always annoyed the crap out of me. Getting bounced to my apt with no warning is a big pain in the rear. Even if it just tells you that the GR is locked the way it does on the normal GR screen would be better but I much prefer the "Status" idea.

This is a great idea, and has been mentioned many many times since this post.
I think it was Unreal expanded upon it a bit and added a useful colour code too.

Nice cartoon, and excellent GR idea. It would save us time checking the map to see what open & closed, clicking the GR button and realising that we have misread the map.

Any good change to the GR list would be great. Automatic sorting? Such a pain in the backside to do it manually, but at least you only have to do it once per character, usually. :p

No idea what I said last time about colouring/whatever else, but I'm probably about to repeat it, heh. Colouring the list based on the automatically retreived Outpost security settings which are already used on the World Map would be a great help. And because the information is already there, it shouldn't be hard to accomplish.

Red - can't GR in, can't enter UG
Orange - can GR in, can't enter UG
Blue - can't GR in, but can enter UG, if that one's at all possible (been a long time since i've seen the OP security settings list :p)
Green - can GR in, can enter UG

Hopefully 2.3 will focus on making some improvements, even ones as small as updating the GR list.

Ability to enter the UG is determined by GR setting, so not much use in most of those codes. (well, half of them)
