How do you launch this thing?

I had 2.2 and the launcher. I logged in today to find a new launcher would download. I did. The new launcher doesn't detect my old install folder. I installed 2.3 to a new location (the default location the new installer wanted). Now when I click "Start" it cycles at 0% and doesn't launch anything.

I swear every time I try to play or update this game or the launcher, it never works. Assistance would be appreciated. Is there a 400-step PDF guide somewhere I can read?

Please, head to the Launcher folder "_nclapp" and post your applog.txt, maybe we can solve your problem :)
From my experience problems are mostly caused by the Firewall/AV.

I replied with my log...but it said it needed approved by a moderator.

At least two files are missing (Updater.ini & Language.ini);
Please start the Launcher -> right click your Client icon and select "Repair and Cleanup" (this option will also delete screenshots and custom Crosshairs etc.).

The Launcher should now download the missing files and you should be able to login/play afterwards.
