View Full Version : How do I get my sounds effects to work?

Ever since the new launcher my ingame sound effects have stopped working. To this day I still cannot get them to work? What do I need to do in order to resolve this issue? I have music, that works fine. I've done a full install and reinstall and also a repair. I still get this message.

Please attach the complete applog.txt and errorlog.

It told me my applog.txt was to big to attach but I was able to upload my error.log.

A few questions:
- Are you running NC with Admin-rights?
- Is something blocking your connection? (Firewall, AV for example)
- => Can you try to disable those services and try the DL again?

Thank you for your help Xanthos. I disabled AVG along with my firewall. I hit repair and it fixed my issue. Now, with that said do I have to turn off AVG and my firewall each time I launch NC?

You can create a exception for NC in your firewall settings.
