It wasn't always like this. I used to AFK in my apartment overnight to get symp/SL and to see chat.
I login during the afternoon to keep an eye on chat and possible OP wars, but I can't leave the client idle for 10 minutes before "synchronizing." I "play" Neocron on stand-by a lot of the time. I'll join in when I see something going on, if a player is asking for help, or if a good ol trolling is going down. Even clan recruitment, I like to keep an eye out for people who might wanna join a clan.
Is this really necessary?
