Hey,

I just installed neocron and I don't get it to work.

Starting the game via launcher or neocronclient.exe shows me a black screen for a second and brings me back to desktop.
I tried reinstalling the game and the file check with no fix.

My last Error.Log

free memory: 1023 MB physical, 1023 MB virtual (82%)
File Check complete: 1168 files checked
Exception created DINPUTMOUSE : DInput Creation Failed
Error: DINPUTMOUSE : DInput Creation Failed

Is this issue related to my input device? I plugged in another mouse but that did not help.

Did you install Neocron using the latest installer from https://www.neocron-game.com/client-download and also did you have Install DirectX selected?

Yes, and I installed it again from the redist directory as in another thread with another issue adviced :/

Downloaded again and installed from. Still the issue.

Is there any information I can provide for help?

Ok, I have no clue why, but it works now. Nothing changed except the windows update.
