[R#202] Game Crashes before it opens

Hey guys what's up?
So this problem has been happening since the big update, I'm only reporting now because I thought that maybe a reinstall and such wold fix it but nope.
So what happens is: I launch the game and a black windows pops up for i'd say half a second and then closes immediately. I usually wait then and nothing happens, no error messages nothing.
Dunno if this has happened to anyone else but yeh, I'd apreciate some help.

A couple of things to try - try deleting the models.tmp file in your Neocron folder. If that doesn't work.

1. Did you use the installer from the website - https://www.neocron-game.com/client-download
2. Did you also install the DirectX9 supplied in the installer?

do this, go into your neocron folder. open the ini folder, open system ini, change the value from 0 to 1 and save. relaunch the client. it will go thru a recache and hopefully u will be fine. this is a problem that used to run rampant years ago. it has reared its ugly head again since this patch.

Bifrost - I actually don't have a models.tmp fil. And yes to both questions

gstyle40 - It the value was already 1. But thx for the suggestion.

Just a bit more info to help you, the game has worked without any problems for a long time, it only started doing this when the big update came.
