Hi there, I'm experiencing a few annoying Bugs/Problems with the game since the 2.3 Patch rolled out:

1. Synchronzinig every time I log in with an character, it takes 2 to 7 tries until i am completely in game, without synchronizing, black screen or missing stats/inventory

2. extreme Stuttering and freezing when a new entity appears in Local, no matter if player, NPC or just a rat...the Game freezes for 1-2 seconds

3. Microstuttering while exploring the Wastes, it is like teleporting 1-2 meters every few seconds

4. "Fatal Runtime Error"...well it isnt called that anymore, but im occuring a lot of "game stopped working" Errors randomly, but mostly after the freezing occured.

5. Synchronizing while hunting mobs every ~15 min, first every action stops, no movement and after approx a minute a synch appears and i have to relog ( and then the login bug occurs again)


PC specs:
CPU: AMD FX 8350
Board: MSI 970A G43
RAM: 16 GB DDR3 2133
Graphics: Geforce GTX 970
HD: Intenso HIGH 3813440 240GB SSD
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit SP1
Drivers up to Date.

(Game was located on slow 5400 rpm HDD before, reinstalled on SSD ...but no change)

I'd like to help. I didn't experience any of that yesterday when I played. I suspect the UDP packages are being blocked or being re-sent. Do you have active firewalls on your PC or anywhere else in the network or router? Do you have local programs running in the background of Windows that would interfere with UDP? Some network scanner, or security suit? Do you have other programs running that use UDP, maybe Skype, or chat tools? I'd recommend killing these processes in the task manager or disabling autostart for them and reboot. Then try NC again. Just for a test.

Well i tried this, but the problems still persist....except the Login-Sync....but it could be coincidence now, with 2 working tries...ill keep an eye on

Login = TCP
Game data = UDP.

In 90% a "sync" means that UDP packages are not reaching you or the server for some reason. This is working for the majority of players on the server so I assume the problem of the few is on their end. I have no clue how to fix it could be everything such as package sizes.

A short time ago my internet provider forced IPv6 and disabled IPv4 for all users...could this result in such Problems ?
Haven't played NC for about 1 year, but it worked really fine the last time i did....and the only big changes are the IPv6 thing and he new Patch.

Yeah i can confirm this, switching off my firewall solved the synchronizing issue, but the stuttering, the bigger problem is still there

Crahn Blessed Damage Boost currently requires Vehicle Grenade Ammo.

PPUs are officially Tanks

Hey Odimara,
You don't really need VHC Ammo to use that module, it "just" have a wrong description.

Are there any specific ranges of TCP and UDP ports that Neocron need all the time? I really don't want to open everything on my router...
I also have this problem with stuttering when I use the new fps=60 limit of the game. When I limit the fps=55 with Bandicam for instance it's no longer happening.

Maybe you can reference it a bit better? "The newest Next Chaincraft Abrahams M-PPU1 requires grenade vehicle ammunition"!

Yeah it seems to be the right way, i played a little bit with the different vsync modes from my graphics card....and i could reduce the stuttering by using adaptive mode vertical sync with 4 pre-rendered frames....it is still stuttering but the freezing has been gone mostly...
Is there a way to disable the 60fps (62) limit from nc anyway ?
