Anyone else having issues with the patcher not responding?

Mine is downloading all but 3kb of the patch and then it just stops.

Someone suggested I download the patch manually from someone or somewhere. Has it been made available for direct download anywhere?

PS I'm using Windows 10
GTX 970
8gb RAM

Leave the patcher in that state, it's a huge patch and when the patcher was created (around the millenium) the coder had no clue about "responsive UI's" ;p

In short, the patcher does something in the background but isn't updating the user interface. It looks hanging.
