Just incase anyone is interested in something to pass the time. ReaKKtor released a Free Edition of their new Arena Shooter Toxikk on the 9th.

I haven't checked it out but looks pretty good if you are into that genre.

The big problem here is they only provide you with a QUICK PLAY button for the free edition. Most of the time it says SERVER FULL or doesn't connect you.

Bought it few days ago. Really nice old school arena shooter for those who feel nostalgic for the first Unreal Tournament series. Not my favorite kind of games - just decided to pay some respect to NC developers.. Enjoying, so far.

That's fine and all, but before they did a free edition the servers were basically dead. That's what happens when you're in early access for too long.

well the game was only out for 1 day before free version come out.....

yes they were in early access for "too long", but that doesnt mean it killed the game, there are plenty of people in the world who werent in early access....

If they fix the f2p version so it doesn't try to connect to full servers, this game would be fully f2p. The $12 is just for a server browser, very important yes but not needed for a few casual rounds.

I haven't tried it, a little too young to have played quake and ut when they came out so the nostalgia is wasted on me.

Anyway the f2p option is a very good deal and the game's really cheap, I hope it does well.

no free version only hs a few maps.
