Can't seem to get into the game

I made my account on http://www.neocron-game.com/ and downloaded the game. I can sign in perfectly fine on the website, but when I try to sign in on the game it just attempts to connect for a few seconds then goes back to the log-in screen without any sort of message.

I start the game using NeocronLauncher.exe

I've made sure the game is allowed through my firewall.

I have opened these ports on my router:

7000: TCP
8020: TCP
12000: TCP
5000-5008 UDP

I noticed someone else had the same problem a few years ago here. (http://forum.neocron-game.com/showthread.php?147405-Can-t-login-to-any-server)

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Nevermind. Contacted support. Apparently when signing up I made my username my email. My bad.
