I realized this probably isn't a bug.

The launcher opens fine, the auto updater stays stuck at "sending version request", for the past hour.

I have no problem connecting to the test server.

There is you problem.

Once you patched a client for Test Server use you cant revert back to retail. You will have to make a second install if you want to jump between Test and Retail.

Well it was nice of them to make that clear. At this point is it easier to unpatch or to uninstall & reinstall ?

Since you were just told that there is no way to "unpatch", I would guess that – at this point – a reinstall might be easier. ;)

Like I said, just install the game client in a second directory and you can have both.

Yeah I glossed over the part about not being able to revert back. So I uninstalled & am re-installing now
