Installer integrity check has failed. This is the error I get if I try to run from the downloaded installer. I have d/l it 5 times total now from both the neocron and tech haven links. Both give the same error.
I've added it to windows firewall so it wont be blocked.
I've also tried launching as admin and compatibility mode.
If i install the game from the original 1.0 disks the box has no ip and will not connect to the server even when i put it in.
if i try to run the launcher and change my updater.ini to this..
SERVERIP=85.10.211.24
PORT=8020
PATCHPREFIX=patches\cp
EXE=Client.exe
GAMESERVERIP=85.10.211.24
HOMEURL=http://launcher.neocron-game.com
FTPSERVER=ftp.neocron.com
TESTPATCHDIR=/nc2testserver
RETAILPATCHDIR=/nc2retail
ISRETAILVERSION=1
USELOCALPORT=0
LOCALPORT=22000
it says i have to enter a username and password and the one i created for the game and for the forum do not work.

If i use this config
SERVERIP=85.10.211.24
PORT=8020
PATCHPREFIX=patches\cp
EXE=Client.exe
GAMESERVERIP=85.10.211.24
HOMEURL=http://launcher.neocron-game.com
FTPSERVER=ftp.neocron.com
TESTPATCHDIR=/nc2testserver
RETAILPATCHDIR=/nc2retail
ISRETAILVERSION=1
USELOCALPORT=0
LOCALPORT=22000
i do not get the user/pass screen i get the normal screen on the launcher that im supposed to be getting with all the info but it still will not connect to the server when i try to update.

So is it possible to get this running using the original 1.0 disks?
if its not possible is there a way to fix my download so it doesn't give me the error and can use it to install?
plz help severly annoyed both my friends had no problems at all and mine is a complete fail.
there was only 1 other post i found with this issue and they did not say how they fixed it just that they used the original disks and it worked...

im trying to get into the normal titan server
also it says im running version 135 in the updater

also every time i run the launcher my updater.ini changes back to this
SERVERIP=
PORT=8040
PATCHPREFIX=
EXE=
GAMESERVERIP=
HOMEURL=http://www.neocron.com/neocronpatcher/index.php

I have checked our copy of the installer at the Neocron Website (http://neocron-game.com/client-download) and on the THN's website (http://www.techhaven.org/component/option,com_docman/Itemid,132/task,doc_details/gid,162/) and they both download fine with the correct checksums (http://neocron-game.com/client-download).

The error "Installer integrity check has failed" when you run the setup in 99% of cases means the download has been corrupted, either by your ISP, your Wifi/Network, something on your PC or something else. If you are downloading it using a download manager of some kind please disabling it and try again or use a different browser.

You mentioned you installed the "original 1.0 disks" I'm going to assume you meant "Neocron 1" and not "Neocron 2 Beyond Dome Of York". If you did install Neocron 1, I'm afraid the install disks are not compatible with Neocron 2 and will not work.

P.S. What country are you in and what ISP do you use?

I'm not using a d/l manager and I live in the US and my isp is at&t. also the 2 configs in the original post are the exact same and both lead to the login. I lost the other config I used. I have also tried to d/l it using both internet explorer and firefox both give the same error. also sorry about the other post when I clicked this link it said my post no longer existed so I thought I posted in the wrong place and it was deleted.

Hello KidFury,

the installer will create some temporary files in your HDD in the Windows default temp folder. Please make sure that there is enough space in this harddrive for the temporary files as well as for neocron itself. A rule oft thumb is to make sure you have about 2,5 times the space left free if you are installing on the same drive as the Windows temp folder. Or 1.5 times each both harddrives if installing in a different drive then the one with the temp folder.

As a result of insufficient space the installer will report a corruption oft the unpaked installer data, as parts of it are missing.

Tl/dnr: Make sure there is plenty oft space free in your harddrive(s)

hi and thx I did read somewhere else in the forums about the limited space issues. I deleted and removed what I could and ended up with around 30gb free. doesn't seem like much but my ssd only has about 120gb total. since I started this thread I have d/l it about 3 more times. I think i have downloaded it about 8 times now and it finally worked and i didn't get the error message. i didn't change or do anything different it just finally d/l it without corrupting it i guess. still no idea why is was being corrupted in the first place but thx for the help i have it installed now.

Thanks for letting us know - quick final question, can you remember how much free disk space you had left before you did a cleanup of your SSD?
