Hello,
there is some confusion going around since the start of our new product page about the "Authorization Keys".
We are planning to release a new reworked version of the public API which allows our creative community developers to create apps with more access to "live data" like outpost stats for example.
In some cases the app needs more detailed data apart from the general data to show your skills, items or mails for example. This is why we have created the "AuthKeys".
With these keys you are able to allow the app to get those data without revealing your accountname or password.
