could someone explain how these work exactly and how resists come into play? with the latest influx of devourer tank plays i've experienced one closeup personal and was dropped in mere seconds (as a tank with reasonable resists).

i've also experienced heavy damage in full inqui/camo pa against fire mobs. especially hopper projectiles seem to have a high chance to ignite and those dots do immense damage. mech turtles can do (un-)reasonable radiation damage if you just ignore them. this is also a dot.

i wonder if maybe dots somehow ignore resists?

I'd like to add an additional question on the subject, hope that's OK :)

What body parts does DOT target? Overall or only head/chest/legs?

put an ENABLELOGS = "TRUE" in your neocron.ini
Get shot by a devo and see the impact yourself.

I mean, I could of course share my wisdom but I would clearly lower your fun of exploring the game on your own wouldn't I ? ;-)

Post your con set up too. Could be something there. Hoppers hurt though. That's a fact. So do dev tanks.

What actually happened to the skill calculator project, couldn't that also calculate resists and stuff? Is someone still working on it?
