I'm going to put this in as a bug report even though it's been around for ever.

There's been a lot of work around making the position of players a lot more precise. Gameplay is smoother and latency is much less of an issue.

Symptoms of the issue

Controlling a drone yourself is responsive and fine of course.

Watching someone else's drone gives the impression that the drone is way off, as if the location of the drone is only transmitted every 10 seconds or so, and the location of the drone in the mean time is made up to give a smooth transition.

The drone often flies through walls and even more often is completely invisible.

There also seems to be a difference in whether you are spectating the drone through your player or through your drone.

Often you will see the drone through your player but not through your drone.

When the drone is invisible, you will still see it's fire (rockets, fusion, etc) from the correct location. This further demonstrates the issue regarding the latency and positioning of the drone.

Often you will see the drone flying 5-10 meters behind where it is shooting from.

In my opinion, this is a bug :)
