Can someone tell me how a PE is supposed to level PSI without a teammate or missions? Also, the other day I teamed with a Tank and was getting about 10XP per kill on my PSI main skill with him but then same day I teamed with a very low level PSI Monk and got NO psi XP..I am a level 15 PE and he was a level 2 Monk Thanks

Teamed players have to have a combat rank within 10 of yours to gain xp from them (and them from you).

Also, citycom missions will give you psi xp.

I always thought it was 15 ranks, just asking to clear the confusion once and for all :P

PE's can't level PSI without doing missions or teaming.. unless you spec into APU instead of PPU and level PSI trough that but never seen a PE really do that.

I just did a ton of aggy missions at your level and get the first levels trough that.. After that go level at the MB bunker always tons of people around there you will level your PSI at a nice speed.. Only reason I went back to MB bunker yesterday was because i needed 3 more PSI levels to be able to use the 3th shield.

It's not exactly 10 levels, a few weeks back we were getting XP from people that were 12 levels apart. Im not sure the exact number though.

are you talking about the actual lvl? because i think it is from the combat rank wich is determined by your gear.. not the lvl.

I was levelling my PPU with an APU, combatrank difference of 13. Any particular way it works anyone?

It might not be the CR it looks at. Maybe it has something to do with individual levels.

I wouldn't know how to explain it though :)

Does anyone have a link somewhere to a dev answer from the old days? I've always gone by the "rule of thumb" of 10 levels :confused:

This is exactly what I used to do with my PE's when i wanted to cap their PSI. The low levels I would level exclusively with APU until I capped and then I would lom it to ppu and switch over to pistols or rifles. I mean you do this while doing the aggy missions as well but it seemed like the best option if you were solo.
