[cbt][help] Windows 8 and NC woes- Cannot get to the Character Selection screen

Hi all,

Wondered if someone would beable to offer some advise.

I had NC and Windows 8 running perfectly well up until last night. Then the servers were shutdown and I went to bed.

Today I can log in and select Titan server, but the character selection screen is not displayed. It just returns to the server selection screen.

I did not update anything on the PC, nor twiddle with graphic card settings at all.

I tried running the Windows 8 compatability shooter again, and tried to "run as admin", which does not work, and never did. NO change there.

I looked at the NC .log files, and cannot see any error messages.

Does any know where I could start with solving this particular problem.

Server is having a brainfart at the momet - No-one can get to character selection :)

It is know, Zoltan just arrived in the IRC channel, so hopefully it will be back up shortly :p
