Anyone remember why Twister closed down? I have a dim memory of the TG's bombing it maybe? Don;t remember. Does anyone else recall a RL or storyline reason Twister got shut down?

It was shut down when Tsunami Syndicate went to make it big in the Dome, I guess Red Pepper Entertainment didn't see it as a profitable location. ;)

I've only ever lived in PP2, (except when DoY happened at first, then I moved back there) - it's home sweet home to me.
And if Red Pepper's sentiment is so, I'd like to put forth a petition for my fellow BD's to take it over and sweep it out, reopening it as our first "steps into prostitution" ala the Black Dragon faction description says. It was a cool club iirc, though the TS's would shoot at me.
Speaking of which, the Tiki Bar used to be the Pepper Pub and I used to sell drugs there for the cause, nowadays they shoot me dead just for stopping by. It's too gaudy these days anyway, to be honest, I'd rather hang at Electric Vibes now.
I guess that just leaves Shooting Range, (which is "Wtf closed?!") 'cause I wouldn't count the Maze as forgotten.

<3 i have good memories of that place. being asked politely to not start a fight outside when a player run event was going on. I agreed and then proceeded to be set upon by some idiots from a different clan to the one hosting the event. I called my bagman and we dealt with the idiots and went inside the pub for a drink.

the shooting range... lol. I actually went there to level really early on in my nc career. I had lomed from pistol to rifle on my original spy and was told it was good practice. I thought that this meant XP and off I went all excited!
I was gutted when I found out that it was not what I had expected.
Pepper Pub was the best zone in the game tbh. I would like to see it return for sure.

lol told off. no. more like "Hello Doc, No we dont want any trouble today ok? this is a fun event and we just want to enjoy our time without starting silly wars" or words to that effect.

Well, if BD gets Pepper Pub back, we can "drive the TS out" and then they can feel like they needed to re-open Twister to "keep their toe in the PP2 business" but then we're leaving the (grotesque, but functional) Tiki Bar to waste as an empty zone.
I really hate fallow content and wasted space, even just for exploration's sake it is cool to have zones to tour or hang around in. So, while I'd be happy with Pepper Pub back, my real goal is to get Twister opened up again (and the Shooting Range! Silly that got closed with just a wall, it still gives you the loading warning when you get close!)
I really like the RP conceit that the Black Dragons reopen it to get inroads into TS biz, too, *especially* since Pepper Pub (what I considered "Our bar") is all taken over by shooty tiki guys.
NeoCast will be there when Pepper Pub re-opens!
Pepper Pub was the best zone in the game and replacing it with the Tiki Tornado club is the greatest travesty to ever befall Neocron.

While I don't think Tiki is all that bad, it doesn't really fit the scene so much and also the inside is way too big for the exterior, it simply doesn't fit which makes it look a little weird :P
I can't recall the Pepper Pub, I haven't the slighest idea. Maybe I've been in back in the day but I can't recall it. From the sounds of it; it is amazing!
