Can turrets be used for PVE or only PVP? And can they be placed somewhere besides outposts?

Turrets are still not to be used (http://forum.neocron-game.com/showthread.php?145503-Turrets-banned-(temp-)) until further notice. Any deployed turrets will be removed by the Neocron Support Team.
