Was wondering when someone would bring this up here. Looks...I dunno. All we have a is the usual cinematic PR teaser to go by.
But it beats the usual fantasy or modern warfare setting. I do love my cyberpunk aesthetics:cool:

Well, word is that CDPR, the guys behind Witcher 1 & 2 tend to prefer game graphics for trailers and given that release is projected for 2015 i'd say: Thats not necessarily just a polished up cinematics trailer... but we will see.
Unreal Engine 4 is coming for us, and with that some slick Cyberpunk yarn!

Not getting hyped at all about CGI trailers after Dead Island ;)

the difference is that those developers have a very high credibility after the witcher and the witcher 2 when it comes to hardcore story telling, the creators of dead island did not.

I don't think those are ingame graphics, but especially in cyberpunk games, graphics are much much less important than atmosphere, and they can do that.

Mike Pondsmith even admits Bladerunner is his favourite film, so I would expect it to have that gritty feel to it. The police car screams blade, Only other positive is that it is targeted at mature audience so expect the usual sexualisation that comes with these dystopia environments.

there mission statement is fairly respectable to the cyber theme and rings of NC. Check out the release announcement on YouTube for it.

She can keep the claws, I will simply stick to boring implant-less martial arts, but I so want that bulletproof skin!

Looks nice so far, curious whether it can impress me like NC did (for some reason while playing Deus Ex I just always felt the urge to play NC instead), but with CD Projekt being in charge it looks promising.

come on, this is a game from the creator of the cyberpunk p&p rpg - unless they fuck it up with the game mechanics BIG TIME, it's gonna fucking rock (at least i hope, read cp203x, and mike must've been stoned outta his mind when he wrote up the rules section...)

It seems the english community talk forums don't have a thread for this, so I'll just drop it here.

I have no idea what to make of the teaser trailer (link below), but I like two things: It is developed by CD Projekt RED, and they have the blessing (and help) of Mike Pondsmith, creator of Cyberpunk 2020, the PnP RPG it is based on.

Still a lot of hype has been generated from the E3 trailer and yet this is prime opportunity for Neocron to be back in the spotlight.
