So you want to be a droner? It's not as hard as they say. Here are some starter hints:
When putting up your droner character you want to move all skill points in intelligence INT into willpower WPW, and in dexterity DEX into remote control RCL.

After waking up in the MC5 starter area head for the genrep, or have the navi guide you: F9 > utilities > genrep > start. Once in your starter appartment, go down on the streets, look for a sewer lvl 1. Nothing dangerous in there, just spiders and rats. Kill everything with your knife, your fists (ALT+H), (grab the loot!) oder impatiently start a drone. Equip any weapon by drag-and-drop from the inventory F2 to your quickbelt, a bar to the right of the screen, and chose its number on the keyboard. Your starter drones were free of charge, but of low quality – you may want to buy better ones at HEW in Via Rosso or boobs&guns in Pepper Park 3. As with nearly all weapons in Neocron (except area-of-effect) you will need to manage aiming:

start the drone (which moves more like a paperplane), get close to the target, watch the circle get smaller and hit fire. Hitting means red numbers going up. The higher your drones' quality and your skills are, the faster that circle will close, the more range you will have and the more damage you will do. Thats all. KiIll more crap. Do Jobs for Mr. Jones. Good luck, runner.

You missed the fact that you want TC these days for a drone to do anything other than being a flying wet paper bag.

Does T-C add to shield?

T-C is in range and frequency 40%

Key stats for droners:

Willpower (WPL): Requirement for some drones (highest requirement is 89 for the TL-115 rare drone). Influences drone range.

High-tech combat (T-C): Influences rate of fire, accuracy and aiming speed

Remote Control (RCL): Requirement for all drones. Influences damage, firing speed, accuracy, aiming speed.

Yup you need around 20 TC for starter drones to close reticle and do consistent damage, they just need to sort the startup points for droners, because if you go with base setup they won't work.
