When I try to patch the game, it tells me the very first patch cant be done cuz its copyright protected or something....please help!!!! I have to work in the morning dangit!

Try downloading the patches from the THN - http://www.techhaven.org/component/option,com_docman/Itemid,132/task,cat_view/gid,64/

Unzip them, and extract into the patches folder. Give that a try and let us know :)

You install to /program files/ ?
If so, this may be your problem, its bad apparently, not that i have ever had a single problem with it.
Also yes, get patches again from THN just to be sure.

just called patches and extract into that :)

i assume you run on win7 or vista, try running the launcher in admin-mode (right-click on icon, then "run as administrator"), or turn your UAC off...

yes, there is no folder called patches. If i knew how to use ez board things id upload a screenshot...but still its not working

ok so, the game goes to the point where it looks like its gunna load but does nothing!

The launcher connects to the server, then disappears like it is going to start the game, but does nothing. Edit: the game just doesnt load up, even with windows compatibility mode.

You are running the game as admin, right?

Mine won't do anything without running it as admin.

reinstall in a neocron 2 folder on your desktop. Windows Vista/7 write protects the program files directory. you either have to edit permissions for that or reinstall to the desktop.
