Dear Runners,
I'd like to take this opportunity to update our users to the current state of the wiki, and to give a little indication as to where the wiki will be heading in the future. We are currently 'mopping' up spam user accounts on the THN wiki, removing any account which has been created and not made any edits to the wiki itself. We'd like to apologise if any active accounts are accidentally removed, and we would ask you just to recreate them and make an edit to a page.
We are also hoping to start to re-inject some new life into the wiki itself increasing the usefulness going forward for any new players who start playing. For all new players I'd like to direct you towards some articles and projects which you might find useful as you start your Neocron career:
Neocron Dictionary [here (http://wiki.techhaven.org/Neocron_Dictionary)] - a list of common terminology used by Neocron runners to explain varying things from LE to WB and everything in between. Find out what all those abbreviations that you hear on TRADE-NC mean!
Neocron Mapping Project [here (http://wiki.techhaven.org/Map)] - a project by runners to map every sector of the game, showing locations for vendors, vehicle spawning points (ASG's) and GenReps. This also details what kind of mobs you will find in the sector. [Partially Completed]
New Player Project [here (http://wiki.techhaven.org/RPOS)] - a project to explain the basics of the game to new runners, this page specifically links to the R.P.O.S. interactive page where you are able to hover and click over individual elements of the screen to find out what each section means.
Jones Mission Walkthroughs [here (http://wiki.techhaven.org/JonesGuide:Hacker)] - This is one of the many mission walkthroughs which have been painstakingly put together for new players to use. This one linked is for the Hacker guide, but all can be found on the wiki itself!
Warbot [here (http://wiki.techhaven.org/Warbot)] - These are nasty mobs who will kill you with ease at lower levels, so watch out for them when you start to explore the wastelands!
All of these pages and lots more can be found on the wiki!
As for the old 'Vets' of Neocron, we could always use new (and old - you know who you are!) editors to flesh out some of the articles, working on some of the projects in order to help new players come into the wonderful Neocron world and add lots of new images (we can never have enough of them!). Also please feel free to let us know of any errors you find on the THN item database as it can be hard to keep up to date with all the varying items in the world, we are always happy to correct anything you find.
Hopefully some of you have found this to be informative, and also that any new runners find the wiki to be useful in their starting steps. I look forward to seeing new blood both in game and on the wiki, and don't be afraid to edit a page!
