So guys what's around and still working?
I remember:-

Nid had a smart tool install that I used for trigger words such as CST, constructor etc. Over chat channels, is it still around and working?
There used to be a cool app with different textured rate parts etc, was it launcher something?
Are there others? Like a THN database tool for in game? Or a flipping database for your own crap! Hard to remember what's in all the cabinets wtc, would be nice to have a search function

the first thing might be cronalyzer, its on the neocron site downloads section, tho not sure if it does what ur thinking of

otherwise, the unex launcher has a bunch of stuff, and plugins are easy to make (I made an irc chat (for the #neocron channel only for now), and a th.org raredb plugin).

the item texture thing used to work, but has been lost in the mists of time (as in, it no longer works and is no longer for download and was never updated :P)

If you use the Unex Launcher, you can query the THN Item DB (http://www.techhaven.org/db/) with the /thnitem command.

I know Biglines has written a plugin to update the THN Rares DB (http://rares.techhaven.org/). I'll let him tell you how to use it. :)

i'll look into the launcher, although could have sworn that was the one that included the item skins, it used to make even the meat of a dead rat look great! Font remember it being a unex setup though.....
i often alt tab the the THN database, I'll check out the rares one once I update my list!! Not looking forward to that exercise :(

There was a while back, and I mean a while! A mid that recorded what you had in what cabinets, you could search your own database then and it would tell you where the thing was, although short lived iirc is there any legit way to do this? Or is this still a no go?

I think you are refering to NeoLauncher Pro which later lead into a lot of official updated item graphics (i.e. the PSI Modules, Bone Implants, Armor Belts)

But is there any legitimate way to currently have an in game searchable inventory?

E.g. I want to know how many lazar pistols I have, click search and tells me 4 and lists apartment locations. Would have to visit all cabinets for the database to be built up, and updated when you access them.

If not anyway this could be sanctioned? Not sure, not being a programmer if this would be a security risk or not? But I'm sure someone here would be able to put it together?

Anyways worth the ask as my notepad system is beginning to strain and I am loathed to mive to excel!!!

considering the lag when opening cabs I doubt those things are stored locally. And in that case it would probably be very hard to do.

if u manually make a list of ur stuff, I can make u an interface to search that database, but u'll have to keep it updated by hand.
