Sure, it'll be short lived... hence the 'short-term'. Obviously wouldn't keep my attention for long ; )

Reading more about Planetside 2 it does look promising, with even friendly fire (somehwat a shocker coming from a mainstream company such as SOE).
Assuming they actually implement a lot of the sales talk that is...

All of these games look really good, I've also tried E.Y.E and it was a good game but really confusing. Can't wait for Planetside 2 but nothing will replace my precious Neocron. >:)

Woah, Otherland has been taken over by gamigo? That's huge news - it might actually see the light of day now.

Been trying to get details out of the devs for a while now... if it can live up to the books it'll be amazing.

I actually picked it back up again after a couple of years of not playing. The environments are really cool and the amount of classes is great but so far after playing Neocron it feels a bit weak. But I'm looking forward to this graphics overhaul, the graphics are worse than Neocron!
