Hi,
I ran into a problem where I am unable to connect to NC, and I seek some ideas on where to start. Its a little strange:
1. No changes have been made to the laptop. WXP is not updated. No AV updates.
2. 7/12/10 - NC worked. Mid-game it froze and I was logged out. I presumed that it was server related.
3. Privoxy was updated to the latest
4. 9/12/10 - NC - Can get to the login screen, but no further. Message displayed: Connecting to server". Then sent back to the login screen
5. Removed Antivirus and stopped Privoxy. Set InternetExplorer options not to use proxy. Rebooted.
6. No change with NC.
Clues, please. Other than reinstall, which looks likrly - The problem with Windows is that there is no logging... Grrr.
