video card problem :(

Anyone running windows 7 with a ATI Radeon HD 5830? got a vsync problem. the vsync only turns on in neocron but not other games :(

I know its neocron. i download ATI tray and force it off even more and it worked but now neocron will not open with it. i reinstalled both and i dunno what happen. but it should just turn off in ATI 3d settings like it should but some reason i got to force it more with neocron.

i had a geforce 8800gts but i could not bring up brightness in neocron :( thats why i sucked in p2 or dark op's cant see shit. i would use powerstrip or other programs to bring gamma up and shit but it would work in windows and other games but once neocron comes up it will go back to dark :(

That sounds really wierd, but yea, i remember you having that problem..
I have a geforce 8800gts aswell, and never had that kinda problems though :wtf:

Why do you so desperately want to disable vsync in NC that you'd rather not play than have no tearing?

because it causes lag in aiming

i had a simular problem..

it just caused alot of lag even with vsync turned globally off.. it seemed to have it on in neocron and.. forcing it off in nvidia control panel seemed to fix the problem..

but otherwise it was really laggy.. pressing the movement controls lagged... very strange :\
