Questions..
I've figured that 5 real life seconds = 1 neocron minute.
00:00:00 - 00:00:05 RL = 00:00:00 - 00:01:00 NC
So I'm building a function to calculate NC time, but I ran into a little issue..
Does Neocron account for leap years?
The year 2008 is evenly divisible by 4
2008/4=502
So it is a leap year.
The year 2006 is not evenly divisible by 4.
2006/4=501.5
So it was not a leap year.
The year 2000 is evenly divisible by 4.
2000/4 = 500
But it is also divisible by 100.
2000/100=200
Is it also divisible by 400? Yes it is!
2000/400=5
Thus the year 2000 was a leap year.
Neocron is in year 2830, it is not a leap year. 2832 however will become a leap year, unless Neocron ignores leap years. Also, does it even follow the February calendar properly? Or does it just give everything 31 days or 30 days?
[Edit]
I'm figuring that..
RL: Jan 30th 2010 20:26:51
NC: Jan 7th 2830 12:45:00
RL: 20:26:52
NC: 12:45:10
etc..until
RL: 20:26:56
NC: 12:46:00
10 seconds per real second.
I'm having a major brain fart right now, but I pretty much need to figure the time from that start date, to now, to figure how many NC minutes have gone by, to figure out the current NC time, and I need that formula.
I also need to account for leap years, and if NC has leap years, account for those also.
