help question: how to zoom

I have not got a key assigned so that I can use the scope on weapons and do not know what it is called. I read through the keys.ini and had no luck.

Does anyone know what the key binding is called?

depends, on sniper rifles its simple holding mouse1, with the scope weapon mod it's numpad 1,2,3 or 4

num pad 1 = flashlight
num pad 2 = scope
num pad 3 = silencer
num pad 4 = laserpointer

I tried to use these keys but these are only available on a full size keyboard.
My VAIO (notebook) has these keys but while activated the the other keys are inactivated so I cannot do anything else other than point and shoot. Forget moving the character.

Is there a way to map these to another key in the .ini file. I don't know the keywords to set these.

I think a while back some people tried but couldn't find how to do it, you could connect a fullsize usb keyboard to your laptop? better ergonomics anyway if you put the laptop somewhat higher ;)

Perhaps try fiddling with those assignments using the same conventions for keys used in the rest of the file.

There's also an option to adjust key mappings in the launcher, or at the login screen (can't recall which one it is).

I binded my scope on "T". works pretty well..
