Some friends and i are looking for something new to play. I played through beta and quit shortly after 2.2 due to balance,bugs, (insert random reason NC pissed you off here).

Is Neocron alive or improved since the early 2.2 days? Or is it on its death bed while kk resources are used on other games?

Hi mate,

Neocron is still in its 2.2 state, very low playerbase, however its stable and free to play (for existing accounts) so you've got nothing to lose by checking it out. Those of us still playing don't expect anything to change in the short term so play it for what it is, thats the only approach to take.

The end-game scene is Plaza 2 zone whoring and some op fights between 2 or 3 clans for a few hours most days.

Neocron would be much better if the event/storyline GM ever did anything. Garfield e-mailed Chenoa a few months ago to inquire about a new event for us runners he's still waiting for a response.

Did he check to see whether the request was received? Or whether a reply was lost?

yep he checked his filters but he also understand KK`s busyness with BP and the insolvency proceedings.... so no worries.
well during the summer time iam busy,
but honestly there are more ppl with great event ideas but the lack of "puplic" GM activity hold them back to start with..

Neocron isnt dead ye true it looks like the com keep it alive but it is still fun to play (just mute OOC).

come back check it out, its free so u wont loose anything.
