I think it safe to say that a lot of mmo's are going for the "hey it's an mmo that isn't a fantasy game! But it's still an mmo that charges a subscription fee, has balance issues and smack talking 13 year olds"

yeah.. unfortuantely every large online game is gonna have those problems. fantasy games get a lot of attention because they're unusual. back in the day neocron had loads of attention because it too was unusual, then they released things like anarchy online, eve online, etc etc.

the troble with the internet is that you'll always have retarded 13 year olds smack talking, which is why usually there is an "ignore" feature built into games.

edit: maybe a GM could merge this with the topic linked by Hell-demon above?
