Just wondering who is still around or came back to the game since NC1 days. I just redownloaded NC, heard it was free for now.
If you dont remember me, PPU is Ubelmort, and apu is Diablos. Leader of UnforgiveN back in the day.
So whats changed, anything drastic or same game play as before. Whats the community like these days vs the 50 people back then? And is it worth even trying to come back.

a lot of peeps are dribbling back though that could have a lot to
do witht he free play the game is going through atm since then
there are a few changes :) some good some bad i would say jus come
bk an while you are sortin your game out read up on the forums
you will see all the old skool peeps that are bk an what is diffrent :)

NAPPER! Sup, yea Cold found my vent info and told me about the free NC. So I got Chimp downloading it as well. So you may see us all sorta. It depends, I still run Thee UnforgiveN in WoW, so this may be a log on and fuck around type of game until we get really tired of wow.

Is there any op fighting, is it a pain to restart from scratch, is there multiple servers or just one?
Day 1 nc player who played through until just before NC2 release, might come back to play a bit with some old saturn vets if its worth bothering.

yes there are good op fights !
yesterday we did one for 2 hours with good ppl and good fighters, that was a really great op
there are 3 servers : mars (ger), mercury (ger) and terra (international), but mercury is down since months, mars as low population, one slot but great ppl in it, and terra is about 15% pop those days
if you start from scratch dm me ingame (kalonji : my main char), I'll try to find you some stuff ;)

looks like thats one person who wont be back looking at the title. i did wonder by the nickname and the fact he mentioned saturn as to whether it was someone "familiar" or not.

I've come back aswell, and going to get maybe another 10 oldschoolers to come back. Its gonna be good times :P

it kinda feeds itself, since every1 is doing, every1 else has to do it to keep up
or they could just not do it and prove a point that its not required ?
or are ppu buffs that much of a requirement these days ?

some of us do that already kozmos but you know how it is in this game. too many people will stop at nothing to win. i swear some live in alternate realities with some of the shit that gets talked in this game sometimes :)
I'm making some sort of return to the game aswell ;) I need to hide in the internet from my troubles in the 'real' life... I know I fell for real life :(
Been away for some months now, but came back the other day :)
Just been trying out WAR for a bit and found the PVP to be quite good from the start, but in later stages it becomes fustrating due to lack of support from others being very stupid. There are also many many balancing issues that are not being addressed or nothing has been mentioned so far, so needless to say I doubt I will return.
Been back on Baldur's Gate 2 for a bit too :)

I was prisoner, APU on NC1... now the name prisoner is taken by a privateeye (sob....)... I'm actually Metabaron, wannabe APU on terra... actually I'm in my 10 days free trial ... again :)
What i want to know is...How are there always like 50+ people viewing these forums. That many people don't even play this game.

Yep, been a long time. Had the itch, saw it was free to play, so figured why the hell not.
Still has the same atmosphere I loved, lot more people than I expected too.
Deleted all my chars and started from scratch, just like old times!
