I was messing around with Fallout 3 and made a cool reskin of Power Amour

I was thinking of making an entire NC inspired dungeon with warbots and the such. :D

Maybe it's the appalling combat?

Or the fact that it fails to be as good as Oblivion, when it should be infinitely better.

It really annoyed me. I loved the first part of the story (in the bunker), but after that, it gradually became more & more boring for me.

Gutted.

Fallout 3 crashes a lot on the consoles too. Still a damn fine game. Still, I guess after playing so much NC, you almost grow tolerate crashes as part of the experience ;)

Being a reskin of that armour, yes, it does indeed look a little like it. It also has the spy-like aiming eyes, which is a custom mesh from the FO3 community.

The game has serious issues even on the xbox 360... I've had pixel errors etc.,, quite crap imo for being a console game.

am I the only person who doesn't have crashes with this game?

i was thinking of making a Neocron mod for HL2.. started making TH as it's blocky, but my computer crashed and had to reinstall, now the Valve editor won't work. And i've lost all the files.

Still, if you need some help with FO3 stuff, i'm sure i can figure out the editor and create landscapes and areas, etc for you.

There was supposed to be a team put together on the THN forums, but that idea died within hours.

As for FO3 itself, its a great game, but I feel there just isn't enough to do. In morrowind, and to a lesser extent oblivion, there was always rare weapons and quests to do - FO3 seems to have missed the point and become quite shallow with a lack luster weapon selection and very few real 'quests'

But did that stop me from buying the DLC? Nope.

Solution, for me, run in windowed mode.

Crashed every 10 minutes, or less, in full screen.

In windowed mode I played the entire game with very little
problem.

Fun game to explore but the combat scales pretty poorly
as you progress through it, I got bored towards the end.
