I thought it appropriate to announce that the World Mapping Project on the WIKI (http://wiki.techhaven.org/Main_Page) has made great progress over the past few months.

All the sectors have been loaded with mini-map segments, ready to populate with places of interest, mobs, NPC's etc.

If your unfamiliar with this tool please check out the world map HERE (http://wiki.techhaven.org/Map) you can click on any sector, to see detailed information on that sector. From there you can move to adjacent sectors via the mini - map also.

For example the sector B 08 (http://wiki.techhaven.org/B_08) page, from which you can access via the mini map, the Jeriko Fortress, places of interest or information on mobs found in that sector.
Others reasonably populated include J 01 (http://wiki.techhaven.org/J_01) , A 06 (http://wiki.techhaven.org/A_06) and F 06 (http://wiki.techhaven.org/F_06)

I would like to thank all those who have made significant input into this project so far, You Know Who You ARE! :D

And would ask others to help out this great resource site!
For information on what you can do to help visit HERE (http://wiki.techhaven.org/Neocron_Wiki:Community_Portal/Mapping_Project)

Good Hunting Runners!

Sounds like a nice little gadget, haven't looked at it, but if it can do what you describe, then damn nice work.

Bunnies give you carrots and cookies for good effort.

Been using the map since I came back to NC a few days ago, it's super easy to use, has all the basic functions of any ordinary WIKI page as well.

Goodjob :)

personally I really like the fact that not only are all maps there, they are also crosslinked to things like quests, vendors, tunnels and things like that...

I mean, there's been a gigantuan effort to get a lot of the items listed in different vendors (I got bored with it after 1 vendor, they continued making it for most of em), meaning you can look up you favorite non-rare weapon on the item db, which then links to a vendor, which also lists the location.

Almost everything you need to know tbh..

Yeah, nice Maptool too. For my own mapclient (http://wscan.jbp-design.de/) i have stopped the work on sector-infos, because this tool use it. I think I build this part in the future too. But first there are some other nice points on my list. :) - btw the next patch is coming soon. I hope you take a look too and leave a comment/feedback. :) gg sorry for using this thread.

Its good to see there is another project like mine, too. Or no, its good to see that are still projects in the community in work... after years of nc.. Lets support and honour this work. Thx for this guys. :)

Thanks guys :)

I thought i would put it out there again, as there has been a lot of work put in to this project. It's user friendly and offers loads of information already on sectors, although more work needs to be done it's definately getting there!

This was not my baby, just got majorly into it :D Others who have contributed include Brammers, Deplhi, Reaction, Solid Rock, Biglines amongst others who have created NPC pages or Missions that all interlink via the map.

The WIKI (http://wiki.techhaven.org/Main_Page) has grown from it's infancy into a great source of information, yes it has gaps, but the quality of information in tandem with theTHN (http://www.techhaven.org/) items database is outstanding!

With now over 700 Pages!! it has something for all Runners.

Indeed, I do believe that Brammers got the ok for the use of these :)

Work great for vendor locations etc.
