Help, where to go?

Hey,

Since I'm not getting any reply in the player guide forum, I'm going to post this here again, hope that's ok! :D

I've just come back to Neocron after quite some time Want to continue playing with my old character which is a Rifle Spy with 80 dexterity.

I've got all the gear, implants and armor, but I just don't know where to go and with whom to go.

Where should I go to level up? I was logged out at the Military Base which I also used to kill a lot, but everything dies really easy there.

hunt wbs (go west one or two zones from militiary base) or if your a sniper might be able to try fire mobs

Will I be able to take on warbots all by my self?

Last time I remember fighting one, I was in a world of trouble, them with their uber lasers and all!

You're a rifle spy.
They should never get close enough to hit you.

Well I do have long range but I was under the impression that the warbot had really long range.

Walk backwards dude...

Just figure out it's range, and stay out of it.

Doesn't do much for your con levels, but at 80 Dex, you should have CON well and truly capped.

Been a while since i levelled my rifle spy and that was old skool poison cave runs.....man that was a long grind now i look back http://neocron.jafc.de/images/smilies/old/biggrin.gif

The Warbot route is ok if your in no mad rush as the XP per hour is pretty lame but the bonus is you build up a little Tech collection on the side.

Not sure how viable caves are anymore with damage changes and heal nerfs, take the one at Gravis D-06 for example. Maybe with a levelling Con setup you may survive and get some good XP.

Other options..? Maybe Regants (http://wiki.techhaven.org/Regants_Legacy)

Without AOE your always at a disadvantage anyways, but like me you may be best to stick with rifle instead of the LOM>Drone>OverCAP>LOM>Rifle which is a very XP efficient way of grinding a char but VERY boring. Did that on later chars.

An option really only of use to those who know the game inside out, can setup the char when capped and just want that new char yesterday http://neocron.jafc.de/images/smilies/old/angel2.gif

Thanks for all the feedback. I will stick with rifles, gonna try out the warbots when I get home.

Don't have access to my setup right now but I think my CON is set to 30 or 40, is that the cap? I don't remember anymore.

Just starting playing again of course so really have to go get into it :) :D
