Just want to say thanks to the GMs involved in today event.
was lots of fun and for once everyone from all factions / clans joined together to fight as one against the spawn.
lots of new mobs which was cool including a warbot bigger that Sieger! and ones that fire 6 missiles at a time.
i have lots of screenies, if you tell me how i can put them on here for you to look at.
again, thanks to the GMs - perhaps things are on the up?

Man, when the hell was that? I've been on like all day!
i was spamming trade help and ooc lol. i think people thought that if they gred to battle dome where it started that we were lying about an event and were just going to gank them.
got some good numbers though good turnout from AD and R2k.
I check the forums every lunchtime at work, but I never saw any post on a spawn event. 8|

I'm so optimistic, that I have decided that it's a taste of what's to come in the christmas patch. :D

i dont think there was a post / announcment on the forums me and some clan mates were just messing around in p2 and a gm spawned and asked for help as battle dome was under attack etc etc so we went and did what we had to.
was good fun, lasted for a few hours, shame the loot was just a few techs and junk but hey was fun, there was no pking because everyone was having fun and no belt drop.
Hopefully they will put some of the mobs in game, may have to re design what they look like though.
It would have been nice if they could have at least made some announcements about it, so that people didn't just assume that it was gankers.

It wasn't even a choice for me. The moment I saw "GM spawn event at Battle Dome!" I had every reason to believe it was just people trying to kill people.
You certainly seem to be getting a kick out of the fact that I'm upset that I missed the spawn event. =|

hehe, that was my first though either. Told my clanm8s to "not" Gr to Battle dome. But then, one cried "everywhere mobs!!". After that i joined and enjoyed the event. :p
Why arent there gms who could make this more often? :(

i think as a xmas present they should give us a fight night. i would get pwned but would be fun.

not at all.
what you wrote pretty much sums up neocron for me regards player events. people start "events" which end up being gankfests a lot of the time and there arent so many actual events that when there are its like the boy who cried wolf.
when its real you dont believe it and dont bother to go.
