Internet issues help please?

Girlfriend just installed the game to give it a whirl and just when she left mc5 her internet died. Her box still shows that its on but it says it cannot connect to the service provider. So i told her that i highly doubt that neocron can disable your internet or break it in anyway but i just wanted to double check here. Any help would be great! :D

No, NC won't do this. Has she tried to usual tests?

(Check if IP address assigned. Can she ping the router, can she ping yahoo.com; What are the lights on the router/adsl/cable-modem doing?)
Shout at the ISP call centre.
