need help!

heres the story..
i woke up one day and jumped on my computer. double clicked NC and "play neocron2" on the launcher. BANG fatal. tried again... same thing about 5 times, i restarted pc and everything.

so i decided to reinstall it. when i was patching ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ that came up ERROR... im running off of win vista.


please someone help
(also anyone know the amount of XP needed for woc 3 ?)
