Hmm apperently can't log on eather, was online just minute ago so i guess its just the login server down atm.
Can't access it either :(

Looks like the login server is down. Was ingame, then the guys on vent said they couldn't get in. Now I can't get back in when I tried to log another char.
was really bad timing on that shut down on the client....was in the middle of an OP fight :(
Looks like its happened again just now...
I logged out and tried to log back in and cannot. Now the launcher wont even load, it says the page cannot be displayed.

Insert random shit about hamster powered server
They are cockfighting in the server room there. That's my assumption. One guy turns off the server, while the other one (good guy), turns it back on.... Being that it has been down for a few hours, I think someone got punked.

Well, actually, this could be expected with the consolidation of the servers. That one or two servers left will have to be reset everyday. That or it's just the authenication server that is loaded on someones laptop and has the power settings to shutoff every 20 minutes. Either way, I have not seen a broadcast stating that this is the end of Neocron.

Hmm... the Netbase IP of 62.140.29.50 is unreachable. Speakeasy spits out a destination host unreachable error at one of its core routers and Cablevision just times out.
Looks like there's a networking issue at the colo. The route to the server is missing on The Internet. Hopefully Level 3 fixes it sometime in the morning German time and not in the afternoon...
Yeah saddly, not been able to get in tonight. Hope it's all fixed when I come back from the NC meet! ;)

go to http://visualroute.visualware.com/ and put in 62.140.29.50 and see where the break in the line is for you
It will depend on how your ISP is set up and how close you are to the edge of their network. Speakeasy promises two hops to the Internet, so I only hit two routers before getting the destination unreachable message. Most other ISPs will have you jumping through several routers before hitting the edge and then dropping.

I told you that guinea pigs are no good for powering a server, upgrade back to hamstrar.
sorry to say but this looks like the end of NC The servers have gone down before, this is hardly any different. Reakktor has stated that the insolvency won't be affecting Reakktor, especially with regards to the operation of NC and development of BP. So unless we've been lied to, that shouldn't be the reason.
Could anyone shine a lite one this for me? I know the IP of the regular game server listed in the troubleshooting and all, but why in the .ini file does it insist on changing to 83.236.174.254. Everytime it does this, however yesterday, it did play fine on this IP. Did they change it?
Also it would be kinda wierd to shutdown the server when the population actually seems to be damn high.

This could well be a problem that is completely out of KK's hands. They do not own or run the server locations, so any problem with them rather than the box(es) in question cannot be resolved by them.
If this is the case it could be likely that few if any KK staff have been informed as they would have no means via which to affect any resumption of service.
So.... er... let's wait and see....

Its ok, I just came back the other day. And I came back to an empty clan apt and no money. So, I am working on rebuilding my inventory and trying to get money back which is hard with the lesser community.

They can fix a lack of hair if your char model is missing hair. That was the other issue from the database corruption.

Still down. ssl.neocron.com (account management link from the homepage) isn't working. Not sure what the 62.140.29.50 is (may not be anything).
