I seem to be having trouble accessing my account through either the launcher or this link https://ssl.neocron.com/launcher/accountinfo.php?VERSION=&LANG=&IP=&PORT=&

Strange thought i had all that sorted?

I flushed DNS stuff other day and get the launcher window and details as per normal, game plays fine, can create a new account if i want but can't access "Your Account"?

This the same thing as you pointed out Naimex?

I made a thread about the exact same thing some time ago, but after i flushed my dns it worked.

Only thing that hasn't worked for me after i flushed my dns is the "move character" thing.


But you say you already flushed the dns... so naturally my next question would be, are you using cache for websites? because I'm not.

You are not the only one Riddle. Went to http://launcher.neocron.com/ and clicked on "Your account" - getting Connection timeout on https://ssl.neocron.com/launcher/accountinfo.php?VERSION=&LANG=&IP=&PORT=&

I also tried the links from http://ng.neocron.com/index.php?id=129 - Following Create a new Neocron 2 account or Manage your existing Neocron 2 account gets you to a page, but you can't go beyond those pages.

It appears it's not just my Problem Nid by virtue of Brammers Post.

The unfortunate thing is, i have cancelled all my accounts as per the Paypal Advice from Snow i.e. lowering the charge. and cannot now access to reactivate!

ZOMG :( I still got one account running for another few weeks though so no major withdrawels....yet!

By the way i only checked the first page of "create new account" so bram is probably right on that

the only part of acount management i cannot accsess
is the char transfer i can acces all other parts as needed

I cancelled directly dan, through the Paypal site. But within probably the next week i will be looking to activate!! and i can't access the screen to do this.8|

Just cancelled my 3 accounts so they should run the course for a while (2expire on the 10th and other on 14th)

Np, little concerned they might not address this before our accounts start to run out! The population boost may be short lived if we can't get back in game8|

OK as i feared my account has now run out and i cannot access the "your Account" Page via Launcher or the Direct URL.

Nid, As this is affecting a few people can you prompt for a solution?

I can't play and you don't get payed :(

Hey,
I've had some problems to reactivate my account too by using Manage Accounts Page but by clicking at "Create Account" then "My Account"
worked well for me.

Thanks for the advice, Tried it, got the create account screen, i.e Box version / Trial version screen but it still wouldn't load my account :(

you could try having someone you trust do it, or maybe go to like those places that give internet access to tourists to reactivate?

ok, I've just tried it at work. The Manage Account page doesn't work neither with Firefox nor with Internet Explorer. I still have access to my acoount via the Create Account -> Your Account by using Firefox but not with the Internet Explorer. Maybe it'll help.

Alright mate,

Click Start -> Run and type in (without quotes)

"notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"

Add to the bottom of the file:

83.236.174.250 ssl.neocron.com

Save the file, and click Start -> Run. Type in (without quotes)

"cmd"

When the command prompt appears type in (without quotes)

"ipconfig /flushdns"

And close the box. See if it now loads. All commands need to be ran with administrative privledges.

I have done what you suggested and flushed the DNS so many times from CMD it's not funny!

Yet when i ping i still get the Old IP!

When i launch the game i see the correct IP (83....) on server request screen and i can play the game no problem. (Well until account ran out :p)

I can see the official page on the launcher.

But the still cannot access "Your account" ?
