Anyone up for making an advertisement for nc? I'm up for posting it on a few forums if someones willing to make it, seeing as kk have given up on us I believe we need to take advertising this into our own hands.
If u make a Sig i will put it on the forums i talk on.

I've been thinking about making a thread on Facepunch for neocron, but i was just gonna use the No More Elves stuff.
Someone send me a quality advert with resolution that can be printed onto A3 and I am happy to run some off and spread these around the games shops in town. I have a few websites that I can run it on as well.
It would be good to include the monthly charge somewhere, but not so tacky that it looks like its being sold on price alone instead of a good game.
Please don't run adverts until the servers and all web based stuff and payment platforms are up and running as normal.

I'm doing my bit :) All other games I go on I use neocron.com as my name.
Still does not help those who are poor at artwork. There are two reasonable advertisments bundled with the Fan Site Kit pack, but these are in German and are saved as JPEGS, which means no layers to fiddle with. If someone has these in a file format compatible with Gimp or Photoshop then please load those up. I have quite a few places I could place these and the €5 price could be included somewhere on the print.

it's copyrighted material and as such you need to authors/rightholders permission. At least according to german laws and I'd be quite suprised if it was different in the US or UK.
You could use resources from the fansite kit (http://ng.neocron.com/index.php?id=86). Also, if you post your stuff here I'm sure we can get an official yay or nay from the powers that be.

Indeed - the posted banners need approval anyway before they can be used elsewhere.
This thread has been started way before the account issues and it wont hurt to have some material ready for when the problems are resolved. ;)

It really depends which of the following you count as.
1: Concept Stage
2: Beta Stage
3: Retail Stage
Because as far as I remember neocron was way ahead in 1 and 2, but I think funcom had a release date that was a couple months earlier for one of their games.
But it's only as far as I remember, could have just heard about it later than I think I did.

looking at that BP pic... its to bad that BP isnt an addition onto NC... What i mean by that is... for those who have played SWG.. you know what came with Jump to Light speed... You could not only play on the planets (or in our case, the wastelands) but you can go into space to play aswell. Black Prophecy would have been an ausome expansion to NC, IMO. heh...
anyway, on topic... i never thought that the banners and such that kk created matched the game. nothing they create for advertisement is ever in the game. such as the monk at the login screen, or the flash banner gas mask wearing mofo on the website... i think that ingame characters and such is much better for banner content.
give me a link to that file sharper, i will do some magic to it.

btw, i added the snow because its always snowing when i play NC... (on my comp anyway, lol...) i could also do this without the snow in a GIF file. (the snow is actionscript.)
