nothing to do with cron... but..
i had the dreaded 'snip' yesterday. my wife had convinced me that it was painless and easy for guy to get done etc.. 'my friends husband had it done and it didnt hurt' etc...
LIES LIES LIES !!!!
seriously gents, if you thinking bout it, dont go in thinking it will be a breese cos it probably the most unpleasant experience i've ever had.
i'll spare you the guts - PM me if you want to know more - but it all done under local, and you get injected right in the nads and there lots of gut turning sickly uncomfortable pulling and twisting... urgh..
ruddy hurts like hell too :(
got a constant been kicked in the nuts pain.

I'm pretty sure there is something women can get done that's the equivalent of the male snip. Having the tubes banded or somesuch.
Yeah, it's a damn sight more reliable as well I think. There are many occurences of blokes "healing" and having to get it done again. Fuck that no!
If a woman ever suggests you get the snip tell her you'll only do it if you can remove her nipples with a cigar cutter.
IMO, the snip is just one step away from castration. There are very few things I feel this strongly about. One of them is to never get buggered.

The snip has always appealed as I never want kids, but I'd rather just put my balls in a microwave for a bit than let anyone take a knife to them. Makes me need to go and have a sit down just thinking about it.

And the reason the "healing" rumour is around, is because you gotta wait 72hours or something after the snip
I think the female version is much more intrusive, painful, and permanent
its not 72hrs, its 3 months, then they test you and see if it's not re-healed !!
i think that it is quit un-likely to heal, but does happen.
also - reversing it is by no means a likely success, far from it.
yes there are lots of other options and you have to choose what is right for both of you. not all of them are suitable for whatever reason.

i have 2 kids already. my daughter is 18 months, didnt expect to have her as my wife is quite badly disabled (back problems, nerve damage, constant pain etc...) and carrying our daughter through pregnancy almost killed her. no lie.
i didnt have any other choice in this case. like i say. lots of options, some suit you some dont, some are suitable some aint.

Back on topic, it is alot easier for a bloke to get "done" than it is for a woman.
We carried the kids for 9 months had the sickness, have the stretchmarks forever, pushed the little blighters out and all u have to do is enjoy urselves.
There r many reasons why people have to choose this, b4 I split with my ex this was the route we would have taken.
The contraceptive pill/injection/implant didnt react with my hormones so didnt work.
Condoms split, proof being my 1 y/o :)
Withdrawal doesn't work coz we all know men "dribble"
Rhythm method is shit coz who wants to have to plan sex??
And coils can very easily get "lost" inside and it works by stopping the egg from implanting in the womb, now in my opinion a fertilised egg is a life & I dont think I could willingly stop that life.

anyways, as far as im aware its something like 5 days before, 2 days in between then 5 days after, which leaves about 12 days of a month where you have to be careful...
i dont know about side effects or all that sort of thing, i can only base my opinions and views on what i know or have been told.

The contraceptive pill is a different matter, in my opinion every woman (especially teenagers) that are sexually active and not wanting a child should be taking them.

well i am happy to say that it all still works and although still a little tender is pretty much all better!
