Im thinking of coming back... But need some info first

1. What makes Evolution different from DOY?

2. Whats new in Evolution?

3. What makes Evolution better?

4. How is this game doing community wise? Last time I was here it was a pretty lacking experience.. the servers were empty.

5. Do GMs still take forever to respond to tickets or do they move their asses to help paying customers now? - I had a ticket for 7 months unanswered.

Basically I want to know is it worth coming back to?

In fairness the game is what it is, at this stage in it's lifecycle it's not going to receive a fix all patch, new engine or re-written code.

Pops around 10-15%, yes low but still playable.

There are some MASSIVE difference's since DOY.

To name a couple of biggy's:-

- All Factions back to NC1 , DOME war over. Faction relations are again key not red vs blue. Plaza 1 is the place to be not TH! (sorry Bram :) )

- Major rebalancing killed the APU / PPU gank all team

- Implant/Armour bonuses all changed, new weapons.

Just do as the guys said , trial it, what you got to lose?

You can make plans and share them with your enemies :)

Fallen Angels and Tangent Technologies are Hostile but on the same Alliance Channel lol.


I'd agree, with one of the previous posters, you really need someone to play with now, because else you can't really do anything.

Unless you wanna make new friends amongst the other runners who are busy with their own things :)

I came back, I play once in a while, but it's way more casual than when I played it last, among a lot of other things because I don't have time in my life to do much anymore.

Due to the low population, differences in timezone are now a far bigger problem, imo.
