I subscribe to the RSS Kotaku feed, so I read a lot of news from them. Soon as I saw those characters, I recognized it immediately.

I have a somewhat related question...

Are the sound effects in Neocron original, or is there some kind of universal sound effect pool that everyone draws from? :lol: I ask because there are a few sound effects I've heard in various movies, games, and even anime that I've heard in Neocron first (as in they aired/were released after 1999/2000).

It's quite strange when you recognize a sound effect... :lol: Even moreso when you go "Hey! I heard that in Neocron!". :p

In Oblivion when you open metal grates in some of the dungeons they make the same noise as the little flying mech beetles you can find in MC5 and around MB!

quite a bit of the nc material is stock textures & sounds - some commercial, some free.
