20 days - I typically managed to ge tthe barret in the last 2 or 3 of those.
The trick is to spend the first few days focused on gathering survivors.

The sawed off shot gun was my favorite, seemed to do high damage and has a short reload time, atleast it was until I could use the barret ;)

Easy :P hunting rifle ftw and if they get too close just get the chainsaw out

wrong. Ive played it a bunch. At first, get all the survivors you can. Every single one of em. makes everything easier. 35% repair rate or something per hour keeps ya alive, and all those extra guns keep the zombies dead.

Hunting Rifle and the sawn off best combo. AK47 and M16 are both useless.

I went with shawed off shotgun and chainsaw combo, I found it to be really effective and I didn't need to worry about reloading just to kill the zombies on front.

nothing better than taking a bullet through 5 bodies ripping their legs and heads off in 1 shot with the barret :p

My combo was the sawn off and ak, sawn off was good for the fatties and quick ones, while the ak was good for getting the soldiers in the legs.

Game was easy... first priority is the UMP... so after first level do about 50% weapons 50% survivors. After you get the UMP, you can spend all your time on survivors and repairs. Then spend all your time on weapons. You should get the 50 cal by the 4th to last day or so.

You don't need anything after the 50cal.. it's kind of a secret weapon I guess. It goes through everything.

Tip: kill soldier zombies by shooting their legs.

Before I had the 50cal, I did sawed off / chainsaw. Ash ftw.

Was fun once... Sawed + Chainsaw was unbeatable up until the baretta, after that, meh...

Now what, it was fun once but no more to be honest...

And, ya, my GFX card burned so I gott play flash games :(

Funny game, especially with the barret rifle :)
Pretty easy though, never went below 70% on the barrier and completion @ 20 nights survived.
