Ion shotgun.. epic or not

Just wondered if the ion shotgun weapons are classed as epic weapons (ie non drop) as they require alot of work to get and are partly mission based

Not that I'm aware of. The Assault Quad is the same. Lot's of work involved and mission based but can be destroyed like any other vehicle. :(

Afaik they count as rare (as I believe they have a swirly) and like the WoC weapons, the run is repeatable and thus they drop.

Yeah, but you still have to go back out and work for it again.
