Listing which mobs drop rares

Seeing as there were a number of unlisted changes to which mobs drop rares in 2.2 I think we need to start off a list to cross check.

Do parasites really drop em?

Pretty sure I got one from a Parasite the other day. (Along with a pile of junk.)

Edit: If you have trouble looting the Parasite, aim outside and around the mob, not directly at the mob.

Hehe the genotoxic paracite thing tis exactly why I think we need this list, some of the mobs drop rates are so gimped at the moment, the only way KK will spot these kinda issues is by going through the mobs in a thread like this and seeing which mobs are an issue of debate. Hence why I highlighted doomreapers at the top as well, I still belive they should be dropping rares but I havent seen one drop since the start of 2.2.

ive gotten 3 or 4 off Parasites. You just gotta find their damn hitbox on the ground to be able to loot em. (Tip, step back 200 feet and look at where the model is sitting, usually gives you a hitbox)

Just check again - Parasite's definatly drop rares.

[CONTENT]
- Increased the rare part drop rate for high level monsters and added junk drops to some. Mobs with a skill rank of 120 or more should drop at least 1 rare part (up to 3). Mobs with a skill rank between 100 and 120 have a high chance of dropping one rare part (up to two).
Perhaps this clears things up a little. ;)

I know several mobs above 100 that don't drop techs

like 112/112 crawlers always drop atleast a tech.

So like in that case KK's not-exactly-as-it-should-be is our advantage.

But yeah i find KK's new system mostly accurate.

blood viper king in the graves is 120 yet he has a very low dropchance on rares
killed him at least 10 times the past few days with my droner and got a T once and a T+E once. the other 8+ times was either junk or viper king armor

question: does viper king armor count as a rare? (so does it take up a spot of a possible rare drop?)

and even IF viper king armor counts as a rare and takes up rare drop spot then its still not working properly because i had cases where i only got junk from him. no armor, no rares
so definately not 100% chance to get at least 1 rare as stated on page 1 by trivaldi

That sounds like the old drop rate for the Blood Viper King in NC2.1. Used to get an part now and again.

Yes, it's nearly the old drop rate. Normally he drops 1-2 armors in addition.
