where is James Deneri
Any know know where I could find this chap and talk to him?
I am currently tearing around inside the mines looking for him,
but have had no luck.

Hes at the main lab. The room with the broken billboard and faint speaker voice saying: Welcome to Regant laboratories. We wish you a productive etc...zzzxcxzzzxyzvyzyvyvzyz
I have no idea where this is, which is prolly why I could not find him.

i did mission 1-2 solo, guess ill have to get a group for the mission 3, havent bothered group pve for ages ages ages. anyone planning to go in soon?

Perhaps, there is some confusion. There was a dead bloke who I saw and completed a mission for. This was the first mission.
The second mission asks for another person, called James Deneri. He is not inside Gaia mines, nor the zone inside the mines where the dead person is found.
Unless, both are dead.

He's after the sewers and the bit pool exit. Throught the doors, leg it through the regant labs and he's in the end room before the drop.
Hmm. I am standing in the Laboratory Facility - Sewer System.
There are no doors. Its a dead end. There is only a corpse of Agent Horatius.
After much swimming I found the entrance and then I died :)

You got to know where to go and you have to be fast about it, otherwise it's a plasmary, watery death for you :p.
never made it that far. and to make matters worse, after I died and selected my app to go back to, I went into perma sync, the client died, and when logged back in again I was back in the lab with my Marine, MC5chip, other imps and lost arnour with 40% SI. G'ahh. IN fact, all day changing zones has taken about 180 seconds. Rather crap.
I think I shall try my Ionic underwear in the lab during my next run.

Wow. Now at a record of 4 mins to synch from TH1 into my apartment.
Join proxy failed, to boot. Does anyone know how to sort this out? I haven't changed my laptop set-up, but I have moved networks...
I changed my firewall from Comodo back to windows firewall, and this made., absolutely no difference. There is also no difference when I use the cable modem or put the pix firewall in between the cable modem and the pc.
As for Join Proxy: Fail... I think this is here to stay.
FFS. Just logged back in and I have zoned inside one of the mountains in the canyons and am now stuck in perma synch. /reset_position won't work either.

Hmm. I had another go at this and there is no dead James Deneri after the hall of doom (the circular room as you surface from the water in the Lab). I ran through the halls to a dead end (lots those screaming gentoxic creatures) and its just lots of skin and bones. Also, I ran around the circle of the hall of doom in case there were some other exits, but I think there is only one way out of the hall of doom.
I am in Laboratory Facility - Main Lab.
With a drug flash I might add... :lol:

I had a look around there after I found the body. The labs lead to a vertical shaft that drops down a very long way. What is down there, and would my tank survive the fall?
Look at that circular thing on the left as you run around the outside of the glass from the pool room ...

Yes, I had sussed this... Must be where the director chap is hiding. Down in the prison/ deep hole. But can I survive this fall?

Probably hiding under the nightmare :p. He's in the centre of the room and has god-mode, so just spam away with an xray doomie.
damn. I'm pure H-C I don't think that my Moonie will hit something this big these days.
Well, I ran down there and chatted with Mr.Hoffman for a brief moment, and he tells me its a ruse anyway. Oh, and then I died.

Erm.... I never said that this was a mission you could solo (unless you're a droner).
I'm going to try and solo it. By the way, is there somewhere to crouch and hide down there? At least, somewhere that would delay the time it takes for them to find me. Also, who do I have to kill to complete the mission: Regent, or the Gentoxic Nightmare?
I know that I have to chat to the Hoffman man once more.
Forget the soloing bit. Maybe, I'll find a PPU to help.

Only need to kill Regant. Though once you've done that, it's good to kill the other mobs. Crawlers nearly allways drop a tech and frequently drop two.
Me and Phoenix must have got about 100+ techs last night, 44 on DJ alone.
Not bad. However, I won't bother on Mars since I have a tank and just found out that the Regent PA is only for spies and PEs. I'll do it elsewhere.
