Autopatcher won't connect

Sorry if this isn't posted in the correct place.

I just read about the 2.2 patch, and the free trial, so I decided to give it a shot. I download the client, try to connect, and the autoupdater is stuck at "connecting to server". I check the ini files and changed the server IP from 127.0.0.1 to what I found on the main neocron site.

It won't download the patch, and it won't get any father than connecting to server, but the launcher page does show up. Any ideas?

I've also opened the default port for neocron on my computer, and I don't have any software firewalls.

Hmm this sounds really weird I have never heard of this problem try sending an e-mail with what your problem does to tech@neocron.com and they might help you.

I figured out the problem. The updater.ini file kept reverting to 127.0.0.1 whenever I would load the launcher, I just input the correct IP addresses and made it read only.
