Drug's flash causing lag

I'm not sure if I'm the only one who gets this, but if I get drug's flash, or my drone gets shot (which makes the screen go fuzzy too) then I get UBER lag. I must drop down to about 5fps or something stupid!

Has anyone had this, and does anyone know a fix?

had time ago the same problem, but only on retail not on test i think.

I've also been getting this, framerate drops from 80fps to about 2-5fps for the duration of the drugflash, then returns to normal, i've not been able to find a way to fix it.

I also get framerate trouble when other people are fighting mobs on the screen, if i turn and face another direction its fine, it does'nt happen when i'm fighting mobs though.

I found the fix for it.

You go into dxdiag and turn the 'Hardware Sound Acceleration Level' (under the Sound 1 tab) to 0

Urm I think it was Niddhogg... either that or some wanker o_O

I believe it was Nabbl who found it, as people had lag problems when getting hit by xbows.
